Im not overly a fan of the black gold bits. We use them on our service truck and they burn up kinda quick in what we use them for. Norseman has like 10 different styles of bits that all have very similar descriptions that arent very clear cut as to what will be the best for your application.

I cant clarify the difference in the two sets listed, but I use the super magnums and ultra lube at work and both are great products.

Both Norseman and CTD/Consolidated Toledo Drill use "Magnum" to refer to the drill bits, and both drill bits feature a "nitro-Carburized" finish. The two drill bits are probably the same, but with a different name on the drill bit or packaging.

Wish you were with me tonight, I met two men in some far away farm house and man could those two guys pack that beer down. Anyways I had to haggle forever just to buy some drill bits, and the CL guy got the better of the deal; but I ended up with 165 used drill bits for around .45 cents per bit.

Both of the above two sets look to be well made, it all comes down to a toss of the coin. keep buying used drill bits and learn how to sharpen them, soon you will be meeting new friends on your block...

Both sets have the same part number, SPM-29.

I'd go with whichever set was cheapest after shipping.
