All I can find is sold by sears from 1911-1923. Wondering who made it?

It’s heavy as hell—like Athol level heavy

Looks more like a Rock Island to me, Athol's have truly massive jaw supports that stick out like a sore thumb.

I was just comparing weight. For some reason I wanted to say Rock Island too but I can’t specifically say why.

Curious if it is Rock island it might have C shaped jaws and quite possibly date stamp on top of beam. My neighbor has a Samson and one of these days I'll see if his does.
