Picked up this cabinet about 10 or so years ago from a friend for $70.

It's a San-Blast, outside dimensions of the box are 32.5" wide x 24" deep x 30" high at the back. Door is on the left hand side. There's a fluorescent light mounted above the window.

I know San-Blast went out of business back in 2002. Seems like a company named Skat-Blast took it over.

Can anybody tell me anything about it? How old? Model #? No markings on the box other than a San-Blast sticker and a sticker for a supply house in Altoona...

it kinda looks like this one, but not exactly:

Skat-Blast 850-T

You have a very old Skat Blast Cabinet Model 950 (probably closer to 30 or more years old). At one time Skat Blast sold wholesale through automotive jobbers under the trade name of "San-Blast". Every part for this cabinet is available from TP Tools (master U.S. distributor for Skat Blast). See www.tptools.com or call them for help. 1-800-321-9260. Best time to call is between 10 - 6 PM Eastern Daylight Time - ask for Carmen or Rich, but this week they will be at Carlisle Spring. You can order a new Instruction Manual and Catalog at that phone number without charge if you mention that Fred referred your call. With some TLC you should be able to get this cabinet running good fairly easily.

Hello Fritz. Thanks for the info. I actually did refinish the cabinet...

It works really well! I did contact TP Tools and they were a huge help.

Check out my Garage Build thread for more details on how I did it...
