I've checked the archives and didn't find my answer so please excuse me if this has been asked before. If it has please get me to the link. Thanks you.

I'm getting the new Skat Blast sandblast gun for use with my HF cabinet. Are there any hook up pictures/sites that show the cabinet, filtering system and shop vac suggestions. I know that there are some water immersion filters and that's what I think I'm looking for.

I converted my cabinet from a suction type vent system to a positive pressure vent system and I like it better as it makes for a clearer atmosphere inside the cabinet. Pretty simple to. Just mount a squirrel cage fan to what was the air intake and then mount your exhaust hose to where your vac would hook up. I plumbed mine to dump outside my shop. And an added bonus is the squirrel cage fan is MUCH quieter then a shop vac and will outlast them.

Wouldn't you already have a positive pressure with the gun putting in about 60-80 PSI?

Yes you would but you wouln't have near enough volume of air. If your cabinet was the size of a shoe box then just the gun volume would be enough. Its amazing how much better you can see with this type of vent system and its super easy and cheap.

^^^ Basically yes but I use a couple of inches of water and the pipe is about 1" above it. So no real difference.
