Using a shop vac but have to clean the filter every 20 minutes. Some dust escaping, using glass beads. Need something better and not crazy expensive.

Consider adding a dust separator in between your cabinet and your shop vac. The Dust Deputy is a popular cyclonic design but there are many affordable copies out there. I had the Bauer from Harbor Freight and it worked pretty well.

Just picked one of those up, going to put it inline with my home made one and see how it works. Might just go to some kind of inline fan type motor and just dump iy outside into a filter box rather than trying to capture it in the shop.

Dust deputy is what i use. There are instructions online on how to make a water filter (bong) for them as well
