Sandblaster Compressor Check

Is this a decent air compressor for sandblasting? Its a diesel made in 1984. They are asking for $1k. I know its old but that is by far the highest SCFM I have found for that price. Still starts right up. Its a 1984 Ingersoll Rand 100.

Air end should be good for 30,000 - 50,000hrs before a rebuild.

Parts should not be a problem.
