Sandblasting Cabinet

Hello All.

Does anyone have any experience with the sandblasting cabinets from Glastar?

I am thinking of picking up this model used:

I have no formal experience with that Sand Blaster, With that said it seems to be a specialty unit for etching glass. Is that what your looking for?

I looked at one on CL a while back, wasn't sure about the slot in the back where the glass slides in. It came with a dust collector $500.

I would not be using it for glass at all. Just thought the size would make it nice to sandblast large parts.

Is there a difference between a "glass" sandblast cabinet vs a "regular" one?

The model your looking at allows a pane of glass to slide in the back of the cabinet for etching. I don't know if you can "cap off " the slots and use as a regular blast cabinet?
