Sandpaper holder

Looking for a sandpaper roll holder for my adhesive backed sandpaper. I can only find the 3M versions and as much as I'd like to pay $50 to 60 for 15 cents worth of sheetmetal I just can't justify it. Anyone got an alternative or am I stuck making ones myself?

Ah, the ol' rectal ribbon holder- I like that!!!

Of course, I remember when the rolls came in cardboard dispenser boxes. The boxes would be on a service cart.
