These are all variants of the same product form the same manufacturer.
I have a hydroscopic pressure water problem in my garage and its messing up my epoxy coating. I had a professional (term used loosely) do a vapor test before application and was told no issue. Got a 5 year guarantee, and in less than 3 yrs had an issue. The issues are lifting and oozing of liquid out of fissures caused by water pressure.
I have been looking and learning over the last year and came up with the following options:
1. Grind off epoxy, do vapor barrier, then epoxy and hope for the best. (not a good option to me)
2. Install a race desk or similar floor. Not looking for the clicking issue or the buckling issue in the sun so I think Ill pass. Had some friends with racedeck, nice floor, looks awesome but clicking and buckling ruin the fun. I wish they could get that resolved as its the best solution requires no grinding.
3. Grind off epoxy, acid etch. apply Sanitred / Permaflex / Graniflex as directed. I am asking for a reference on this product with regards to waterproofing and then durability as a flooring surface. If I get some good references here, I may give this a shot.
Thanks !
