Good afternoon,

I’m in need of a dehumidifier for an 1800 Square foot crawlspace. I’m looking at the Santa Fe product lines. Can anyone tell me the difference between the regular Santa Fe and the ultra lines? Or if there are any other brands I should look at?

Are you sure it's not just a name change --- they used to sell some only through HVAC pros with one name. Not to be confused with April Air -- different company from the same area of the country.

I have bought three Santa Fe units online through Sylvane over many years ....my memory was originally the Santa Fe was the small model for a crawlspace ... w/o any ductwork adaption. They other lines with connection ports for HVAC systems were sold under a different line years ago.

They sent me a new unit last year .... I think the sealed system is 5 years ... mine was older and they sent a new one for free. They also sent me a defrost relay for another one .. again out of the warranty (think the full is for two years) I replaced that part -- easy?

The most recent unit is the same -- all the logos are different.

the "simple" one can be controlled with a line voltage humidistat just like mine
