Attached are "as found" pictures of the autoset I got this weekend. It is the earliest version made prior to the Jan 12 1915 patent without a patent date on the bed and with the strange triangular depth setting gauge on the lever cap. The 3 sides of the triangle are numbered 1, 2, and 3 hence the "123 prototype" nickname. I found only a few pictures on the internet and all of the others appear to be smooth bottom. The on-line value guide does not show a corrugated version so I think it is pretty rare. It will need a lot of cleaning to get all of that gold paint off,
