I am looking for info on how to replace a fixed picture sash on a Hurd window. I have done many replacements on moving panes with many brands and am very familiar with the process. I know how an Andersen picture sash is replaced. I am unfamiliar with Hurd. From what I understand that co. is out of business. There are some visible screws on the inside of the window in what would be the sash stops. I am assuming that these hold the sash in place and simply removing these and cutting the paint line will allow the window to be removed. Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Not sure about that brand but I do remember them. The glass was glazed in somehow and I have found on a rare occasion or two that it was built into the sash without provisions for removal. In your case, I think you are on the right track. Something might be removable, be it a stop or trim piece. I think you should take it apart as you described and see what is going on with it.
