Have not been to an auction for months, but was really interested in a cyclone rake advertised at a local auction. The guy was a professional wood worker and had nice, clean, high-end items. The shop was spotless. Well the CR went for $1450 (NIB version is under a grand)...:spit: After that I hung around to see some things sell. I liked the Proto screwdriver and the green hammered-finish boxes. Plus I've been looking for a good electric grinder (older BD) and an air regulator too. The other items were parts of lots.

those little boxes are the first thing that caught my eye on the table. I've got several socket/ratchet flat boxes that I am thinking about redoing in the green/gray/blue hammer finish. They would go well with these.

I can't place those springy 'fingers' just above the air reg. I'm thinking they are adjustable and go on a saw to hold the board in place b/c there are sliding lock collars on the chrome rod that move and turn.

Nice score.

I've got one of those little green hammer-tone boxes in excellent condition. It needs a good home. PM me if interested.
