Picked up a couple things I probably don't need, buuuuuuttttt....
First is a red bench on wheels... it's a cart. 4ft x 29 inches, with a 1/2-inch lip around the whole perimeter. I'll probably add a shelf on the bottom, and a rubber mat to the top, and it'll be a perfect mobile work cart in my shop. My shop is only 32x40, with three work bays. I'm finding having a portable bench/catch-all next to a project while I'm working on it is really handy.
There's a liquid container attached to one side, with a drain in the bottom. That's gonna go, and will be replaced with a spray can holder.
$55.
The work bench is 6ft x 34 inches deep, has a shelf at the bottom and the one on top. Came with a 9500 Schiller Park Wilton swivel base.
Appears to have been red originally. It all came out of a closed GMC/Buick dealership, so it's possible it was bought off the Snap-On truck.
Handle is bent pretty hard. That's not going to be an easy fix.
Gave $125 for the bench and vise.
The bench just isn't going to work in my shop, as much as I want it to, so it's going to the swap meet this Saturday.
The vise? Well... it's smaller than the Wilton I have, and my other vise is a big Parker that's been in the family for at least 70 years, so I can't really see where keeping this is necessary... But I hate to get rid of a big Wilton!
We'll see.
