After many months of searching on Craigslist, all I could find was old beat up stoves that were not even close to what the asking prices were.

Low and behold, I found one come up for sale 10min from my house. A quick 45 min. clean up and a new coat of high temp stove paint, she looks like new.

The stove is an Englander, with a nice blower and new fire bricks. I went with 8" stove pipe 10' up in the shop, with a through the wall kit and supervent double wall insulated pipe on the outside. I had to get a little creative with the support brackets, but in the end, I am very happy with it.:thumbup:

Great looking stove and an equally nice looking install. What is the BTU rating and how much did you have to give for it?

Those brackets look nice. They don't look like you had to be creative at all!

Looks nice. How is the chimney draw? Looks like it might need to be a little higher. If it's not tall enough, on a windy day it might not draw well. If it works on windy days when the wind is blowing from different directions, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Those Englander stoves are good stoves.

So far it draws excellent........ However, I am going to add an additional 3' section to the top this weekend, along with a small 12" section at the bottom of the tee for easy clean out.

Looks good, but what is that material behind the stove? If 2 X 4 framing, you might want to add a heat shield about 1" or so away from the wall.

Thanks for the advice in regards to the chimney height. I went ahead and added an additional 3' section.
