saw cut ?

I started thinking it would be a good idea to caulk the saw cut joint in my floor. The cut is about 3/4 on an inch deep. Do they make any kid of backer to put in the bottom of the saw cut before you put the self leveling caulk in. I'm afraid the salt in the winter will start to mess up the cement at the saw cut. The floor has been sealed but want to stop winter water from getting in saw cut. Thanks for any ideas.

Do they make any thats sized for an 1/8 inch wide cut?

You shouldn't need it for a cut that size.
