my wife looking at folding saw horses for me a Christmas present. what is your opinion of the best for money on folding saw horses?
I've been looking into several options lately as well. These Tough-built C700 from Home Depot are what I think I'll be going with. 1300# capacity, adjustable legs, 2x4 & 4x4 pockets, flip out arms to hold material on a single horse, and collapse down nicely for $50ea.

See those two notches? There for a 2 x 4 on edge, and they fit solidly in the notch - so it is very easy to make a quick work table, etc. 2,500 lb load rating
Also, the legs adjust for height. HD or Lowes usually have them
Also - take a look at the Keter work tables

These things come in handy and when collapsed don't take up much more room that sawhorses.. Costco and Sams usually have them cheaper

Hands down the best saw horses we have ever had- http://www.fultoncorp.com/stablemate-folding-steel-sawhorse/
We use them almost daily for putting hardware on garage doors. We also have a set in the shop to stack doors on, they will hold a ton of weight and are very stable.
According to the one star ratings, they have cheapened the design, making them less stable.

Something else you might want to consider is the B&D Workmate. I have two and use them in conjunction with my Fat Max saw horses all the time.
