I had to take a run out to Ohio today for some new equipment and on the way back home I stopped off at the Hubbard exit for gas and saw something interesting drive past me at the gas station.....an SK tool truck. Judging by the massive SK logos and product offerings all over the truck I am going to guess that is his main product line. It looked to be the same size as the Mac and Cornwell trucks I have seen around here(Yep, there is still a Cornwell truck roaming NW PA). Some of the new Snap-On trucks seem a bit bigger. Sorry no pics, I still use an old Nokia brick as a cell phone.

I've seen one, but it was 2010. They pulled up to the shop I worked at and sold some stuff to a few of the techs that were there. I was in a good relation with the snap-on man so I didn't buy anything. I haven't seen one for a long time. Since SK is coming "back" I would bet more dealers will start popping up from town to town.

Who knows?
I would love to see an indy dealer that specialized in SK with a dab of GW and others on the side. It'd be like walking in the worlds best pawn shop filled with all the tool gems you rarely come across.

There's an SK truck that frequents a couple shops in my town just west of Cleveland. Always wanted to stop and check it out.

There is one that haunts the Columbus area too. I always see it in traffic so I've never been aboard.

I've seen SK trucks in OH/PA too. At that Hubbard exit on I-80, there's a Truck World truck stop and inside there's a store that sells tools -- mostly Tekton. I've probably spent $100 or so in there over the last couple of years.

I am in California now helping my mom whose husband just passed. I miss home, Ohio, and my wife who's in Ohio. These people in California are just too strange and they drive like nuts. :) I am from CA but have lived in Ohio for 13 years.

I stop by that truck stop all the time to fill up at the Shell station there whenever I run out to Ohio. No point waiting and crossing the border to PA just to pay 40cents more a gallon. I was born and raised in Southern CA and I have to say the drivers were light years ahead of this area of the country. The only place I have seen drivers worse than PA is Kentucky. We left CA because it was starting to get really screwed up(and that was 14 years ago). Once upon a time, it used to be an amazing state and an awesome place to live.

I hear you on that one. I was born in the SF bay area (Silicon Valley) and raised there and also lived in Sacramento quite a while. The natives here who have lived in CA all their lives think it's normal. But once you get out of areas like the major cities in CA, and places like NYC/Boston, and large cities in FL, then people start to act (on average) more respectable.

Back home in Ohio, I live in a 5,000 people town. It has 2 beautiful parks, a Dairy Queen, a Dollar General, couple of pubs, and a bank and a credit union. It's like a Norman Rockwell painting, and everyone knows each other. And it's really close to much larger cities for employment oppurtunities. But there's 5 miles of forested areas between my town and there. I love it. These Californians are snooty about how greater CA is supposedly than the rest of the country.
