I’ve never had anything other than frustration when using a recip saw for tree trimming and pruning. Chains just works so much better

if u're going to get a Christmas tree from one of those tree farms.... this would be a good thing to have.... we switched over to artificial maybe 8+ yrs ago after the kids got a bit older.

I just use "The Ax" from Milwaukee but I have pretty much the same experience with Milwaukee and Diablo sawzall blades, I buy both and don't really feel a quality difference between them.

I grab whatever is cheapest. I find that the longer blades usually bend and get all deformed long before the teeth get dull. Maybe I'm just hard on the blades, I don't know. They all seem to cut tree branches really easily though, up to about 6" or so, then it makes more sense to use a chain saw. For me anyway.
