Does this pump appear to be a legit saylor beall 703/705? Thinking of looking at it this weekend.
Also can anyone tell me what to look for to id it?

The one in question is NOT a Saylor-Beall. SB does not have the cast aftercooler shown on yours. Yours is a clone...like this one...https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-LP-Com...Pump-2-Cylinder/122714612249?hash=item1c925c6

SB has part numbers on all castings. The 'Made In USA' is NOT on every SB pump. They told me that they started doing that after the clones arrived on our shores.

I was afraid it might be a clone as I never found a picture like it. Oh well, guess I won't go check it out. It was for sale for $200 with a busted motor. That seemed like a deal if It was legit.

If the pump still work, you can spend about $500 to get a quality 5hp motor and starter. Those SB-705 clone are still consider above average in performance. A brand new, equivalent performance and design, will cost you at least $1500.

Keep in mind that the pump itself is 200lbs+ and it's extremely difficult to handle w/o crane or hoist. For home owners, I try to push people away from SB or Quincy and go for a Champion pump.
