Hello Everyone! I moved into my first house recently and after dealing with rentals and not being able to do much with the crappy garages I was living with, it's nice to be able to have a garage I can do whatever I please.

First off, we just moved in about 2 months ago, so there is a bit of **** still lingering around in the garage, but I have done a lot to get it where I can walk around at least. My goal is to get it organized enough that I can get my '68 Corvair Monza in here and start restoring it.

After I got it semi organized, I decided to hook up my stereo, put up some signage that I didn't want laying around waiting to be damaged, and I threw up a couple hanging shop lights to make it a bit brighter.

So here are some pictures of where I am at currently:

So this is an "after" picture of the mess I had to clean up. There is a lot of junk in there that was left by the previous owners that I ended up throwing out including two massive projection TVs that I ended up sawzall-ing apart and putting out for the garbage man to deal with.

This is the east wall. The 7-Up machine and the fridge fit cozy in the corner that it's in, so they will stay where they're at. The future plan is to finish insulating the wall and finish putting up particle board. I have a friend that works for a company that builds and revamps office spaces, so he is on the lookout for some cabinets I could make into a work bench. This wall will be getting some outlets.

The west wall will also get finished with insulation and particle board. This wall will get some new outlets. I am also going to take down that home built cabinet. It's well built, but I don't care for it. It's just holding miscellaneous **** right now. I'm probably going to reserve this wall for pictures and posters.

This is the back (south) wall. I hope to get a shed in the next year or so, so I can put all the gardening tools and lawn furniture somewhere other than the garage.

This is the other side of the south wall. The previous owner built the shelf and workbench. They will work for now, but I want to completely remove them. I don't mind the walls being particle board, but the workbench is made out of it too and it's kind of a hack job, but it's sturdy enough to work on it.

I hope to get some more time to work on it seeing that I'm still unpacking the house and messing around with other things around here. It's not going to be as impressive as some of the builds I've seen on the forum, but at least I have a garage now.
