Scam in wanted section

I have a wanted post for facom 440/467 wrenches. Received a pm saying the guy “has the items” with no detail and asking me to email him at [email protected] for details. Smelled like a scam but emailed him for kicks and got limited details and stock photos. Username had been a GJ member for 2 hours at the time of PM. A google search turned up the email as pulling similar scams on other forums. Beware!

Can PMs be deleted by the sender? Strangely it’s no longer in my PMs.

no, the sender cannot delete pms, but I suspect when they are banned the PM is auto-deleted
