I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought their E30's rear seat had a better use out of the car. E30 = Old BMW 3 series.

First off, this site is amazing and I've been watching it long before I even had a garage. Now since I do, I'll share.

Slowly but surely, my man cave is coming along. Well, stage 1 as they say.

So much not pictured is coming too.

Cleaned out, epoxy shown, but has been cleared which makes it worthy.

Thus far:

Hopefully by this weekend I have the rest of stage 1 done. Aside from wall art/pieces.

The E30. It's wrapped a vinyl design I created. It's a to-be-HPDE car since I never drive it anymore, and it's not track worthy in my mind yet. And not just because a few things aren't wrapped:

Hookah, flavored tobacco called shisha is smoked from it. Besides what they can be used for, shisha is the only thing that goes through my hookahs. All natural flavors, no tar, not even .5% nicotine, and the only thing I smoke.

One of my buddies had one of those and only smoked all natural ingredients in it. (Maui Waui IIRC) All natural, no tar, a little THC and a pack of Oreo's for chasers.

Really though....nice seating area. I like the seat frame idea

I wired up my ceiling speakers last weekend. Pictures later. I still need to crimp the wire connections and build a box for the deck.

Basically built 6"x6" boxes for 5 1/4" speakers. The speakers sit flush with the ceiling, and even without adding a sub they sound amazing.

Still need to try to make the garage door area sealed better too.

Hidden in the locked storage room behind the bar to stay safe. It isn't the best location when working on a car, but I plan to add a third car garage to be the designated -shop- in the future.

Got them from Home Depot. At $35.00 for each 3 pack it's a little more than what I originally thought I'd spend for secondary lighting, but they say they'll last for 20 years and are super efficient.

I just screwed them into the drywall and with my speakers somewhat near them I'll need to screw them into wood/use better screws as I noticed one is sagging. I used bigger screws on the ones near the bar (lost the screws that it came with or simply didn't get them) but they don't sit flush, which is fine since I angled them at the bar.

The Computer desk in my Garage is a Steel Retro Office Desk...My Computer Chair is a RCA Fiberglass Racing Bucket Seat that is modified to be raised and Lowered and on Rollers.
Very Comfy!!!

They use an outlet, you can actually combine up to 4 sets I believe. They bridge together with an included wire. I used the outlet next to the garage door opener (ceiling).

The only thing I've noticed is when you bridge them together is the switches on the bridged lights are very sensitive or just cheaply made. Once you get them in place just mount them away from any possible storage/attic traffic.

Old Layout:

New!

Moved my monstrous bar out of the garage to inside of the house since it took up a bit too much room.

New Layout once I can finish up the new bar, all of the lights and speakers remain but there are a lot of notes on this plan so I left them off.

LEDs will be remounted in a custom metal fixture. I'm going to hardwire them together, the switches are pretty faulty and temper mental when you have a few sets inter connected.

Sort of going for a natural metal overall look and feel now. It's disgusting how much time I've spent re-arranging and planning my little 2 car to get the most space. Can't complain though, I'm happy to have my own garage this young when most of my friend's live with their parents.

You have a great plan and I can see you are a goal setter. I would never be afraid to change in mid stream. It keeps the build interesting and stay open to changes when you see a better way.
