Anyone ever heard of Schaller plastic boxes? They are designed to fit Lista cabinet drawers and come in a ton of different sizes...

Yes, I have some in a Lista SC cabinet. Less pricey than Lista's own offerings. Not much to say about them; they're plastic bins, they work.

They work fine. You may get an extra box or two with your order.

They have some yellow boxes now that they didn't have when I got mine...

EDIT: Maybe the Yellow Boxes deal was a one-time email (or my imagination) as I don't see them on the webisite now.

bought a bunch of these from Schaller. They're good quality -- better than a lot of the lower quality imports.

I got a message back saying that other colors are available from their eBay store. Looks like they have some yellow and white boxes available...

Are these hard plastic or soft? I hate using hard plastic in the shop for this as they break so easily...

According to the web site, the boxes are made of high impact polystyrene... too bad it's not ABS. :(

They don't break easily. I had one show white lines when I accidentally set the corner of a milling head down on top of it - but it didn't break.

I'm a huge fan of these boxes, and use them to organize my smaller tools.

Made in the USA and the pricing is quite reasonable. I have not broken one (yet). While mostly rigid, they are slightly flexible, which toughens them a bit.

That's were I first saw them... on your web site! Didn't know you were on GJ. I, too, want to organize small tools/parts and have found that a lot of the blow molded organizers are horrible quality (the Ernst ones are the best I've seen, but are somewhat spendy), not to mentioned they lack customization.

I think I'm sold...

Ordered a bunch for my snap-on box and to organize various bins around the shop.
Good product and made in the USA, what more can you ask.

Haha, I'm everywhere! =P

My first order was for ~$30 including $7 shipping, and included a variety of sizes so I could see how well I liked the boxes and to gauge which ones I will need more of. A couple of months later, I ended up spending maybe $75 more. I actually over-bought a little, but the unused bins are used for active Lego builds, so it's okay.

When in doubt you could always place a small order with little risk. They might also be willing to send you a sample for free or for the cost of first class postage if you ask nicely enough.

I really like the idea of these bins, but he seems to be very limited in color choice. Right now it's red only. I ordered some black and he was out of stock. I tried to convince him that black would be popular color, but I don't think he believed me.

I already have enough brightly colored plastic over here with 2 kids, so I'd rather not have a rainbow in my toolbox.
