I have a 6 ton HF press... Works okay except when you actually want to press something out. The frame bends enough that it launches the bottle jack out like an RPG. Their impact sockets make great bushing drivers though.

I have the orange one as well. Welded the top together and it works much better.

I have one (orange) 20 years old. Modified . Have a hand crank to raise and lower the table. Too hard for one old man to do. Have an air powered jack. Too much time for one old man. Have only so much time left on earth. And, I have used the s... out of it. Bent the dowel pins that support the table but, oh well. I can straighten them(and did). Would I buy another?? Absolutely. It does not have a pressure gauge to tell you how much pressure you are exerting. If you can't tell by resistance to the handle, don't do it.

Here is the way that I look at HF. 70% of their tools are junk. Of the 30% of the tools that are good I have the best luck with the stuff from Taiwan. Some of the Chinese stuff isn't too bad but you have to be selective.

Stay away from the wrenches made in India unless you're on a very tight budget.

Another thing that gets missed here sometimes is the fact that with the $$$ that I save on the lesser used import tools, I have that much more to buy quality American or German tools.
