That o-ring trick is clever however, my Snap-On dealer just replaces them when they get floppy.

Same here. They get useless when they are in a floppy condition.
They are normally the first socket I go for.

on motorcycles they can be super time savers.....

try removing the pipes from an Aprilia RSVR.....a 10mm swivel socket and a 14" extension makes it a snap:thumbup::thumbup:

As a non-professional DIY'er, I wish I had some. There are a couple of areas on my current vehicles that really call out for them. I'll be going out and picking a set up if the need arises again. FWIW, I'd get chrome 3/8" drive metric and impact 1/2" drive metric.
