Hello all, I'm getting ready (finally) to pour my garage floor. I would like to thermal break it. I live in Massachusetts (sorry
). From what I've learned on this forum, I should run rigid insulation along the inside of the foundation wall approximately 18" and then run rigid insulation on top of the vapor barrier (6 mil poly). The poly will be over approximately 8" of gravel/stone. I'm going to use 1" rigid foam for cost sake. I will be heating the garage. What is the best way to run the break along the door openings? I have three of them (9' each). I will be pouring a new apron, as well. Thanks in advance for any input
