I don't have any pictures yet but I will try to get some up soon.

The name is a play on my username which is a play on my last name. I was given the nickname Schulace in college and it's kinda stuck. SchuBox seemed to be a good name for my garage.
I have a 22x22 garage attached to a split foyer house that I bought last year. The garage is currently unfinished and crowded with all of my stuff. Car, pickup, motorcycle, snowblower, mower, air compressor, tool box etc takes up a lot of room. My plan is to love all of the outdoor tools, ie mower, snowblower, to a small storage building that I am planning on purchasing soon.

I am going to have a ton of questions as a start on this project so hopefully I don't annoy anyone too much. Thanks in advance for any help that you guys can give me.

My plans for right now are to insulate with R13, which I have already started on, put in a couple more lights, plumb in wall air lines, which I have started a thread on, sheet with OSB, put in a new walk through door, epoxy the floors and paint. I don't know if I am going to do anything for a heater yet. This is going to be a long project as I work until 9 at night and am up until 2 or 3 in the morning and I'm guessing my neighbors wouldn't be a fan of hammers and air nailers running that late at night. So far it has been something I have been working on over the weekend when I have time but once I get into it more I may work on it in the mornings.

I have just 2 light bulbs in the garage currently. I plan on putting a total of 4 fluorescent fixtures in. There are no windows in the garage so I will need as much lighting as I can get. When I replace the door, I plan on getting one with a window of some sort. It could use a couple more outlets but with my extension cord reel in mounted on the ceiling, I really don't need too many more. My plan is one more for sure for my compressor.

My dad and I plan on working on this as we can. I am hoping to get the wiring and insulation done in the next couple weeks. Once he helps me get it sheeted I can work on everything else on my own.

I am a DIY person but don't have any project cars or anything so I don't use my garage a ton. I am hoping once I can get this finished, I can find a small project of some sort to work on.

So I guess this is the official start of the SchuBox.

This weekend I installed another outlet for my compressor, moved the 2 current lights back one rafter and installed 2 more lights. I also got my in wall air line installed. Slowly I'm getting something done.
