Scissor Lift Workbench Ideas

Been a while since I have posted. I am looking for ideas for using a scissor lift table to build a Workbench. I can't seem to find much on this. Vi have seen the scissor-lift workbench that was an article in a wood working magazine a long while back. Just wondering if anyone here has built something similar. Thanks in advance.

If you search on YouTube wooden scissor lift the first result should be for a German kid who built a scissor lift cart. He's got the whole build documented IIRC. Design looked to be solid as well.

One idea is to start w the Harbor Freight $400 motorcycle lift and do what's needed for a work surface.

A workbench wants to be a stable platform. A scissor lift is not a stable base.

Mike Farrington has a nice one in his shop, which he built IIRC. PRetty sure he has a vid for it somewhere in his channel

So, he was lucky that he came upon a top shelf lift used and cheap.



I wonder how rigid the HF motorcycle lift is?
