Scissor truss question

Hi Guys , I’m framing my garage right now . I am using scissor trusses . The gable end wall needs to be ballon framed from slab to truss. My question is, how do I tie the angled top plate on the gable end, in to a level wall . Like you traditionally do will normal framing lapping the corners on the top plates .

If anyone has pictures that would be great thank you .

Flat bottom trusses will create a hinge in the gable wall with a cathedral ceiling. Balloon framed gables are the way to go here.

One way is to tied in with a metal plate, since you can't lap the plates. Look at Simpson. Here is another possibility (image from Fine Homebuilding):

The sleepers are also lookouts for the fly rafter.
