How do you like them? What do you do about lighting? I would like to have this in my garage for my next house. This way I can open up the engine hatch in my boat all the way up. Instead of 24' wide garage I would like to make it 30' wide with a 10/12 roof pitch. The garage would be 50' long. The walls would be 10' tall. The garage door would be 18' wide by 10' tall.

my 40 X 60 has sissor trusses in the back portion and reg. trusses in the front. My walls are 10' 4.5", roof pitch is 3/12 inside, 5/12 outside, which gives me about 15' clrnc in the center. I have a Bend Pac HD14 in the center, and a HD 9 to the right of it against the wall. I double stack on the HD 9, presently a '65 Mustang FB up top and a '84 RX7 hot rod below. The sissor trusses allow me to have the desired clrnc. without excessive building height. Really like it.

I have them in my 30 x 40 w/ 10' walls.
Lets me have appx. 13'6" inside at the peak.
Gets me some ceiling height w/ out overpowering the house.

Get the door guy to run the tracks up the ceiling, or you will lose that extra space.
A roll up door may work as well.
(might want to double check on the door, not sure you can go w/ a 10' door w/ 10' walls.)
