Last time I used my old 2ton Sears floor jack (given to me 12 years ago) it would creep down before I could get a jack stand in place. Nuts, time for a rebuild. Then Friday I was at my sister's place helping the final packing for their move. I came home with a Sears 3ton floor jack! What a deal. Now I'll rebuild the 2ton and I have plenty of jacks for future projects.

I have a Lincoln 3 ton floor jack I bought new in the late 90's. I picked up a new HF 4 ton last year. I have a new 4 post lift, and I use bottle jacks to lift the vehicle to remove wheels. Well, my kid has an after school job at a tire shop, and says for rotation, it's easier to use 3 floor jacks outside the shop vs putting it up on the lift. Now, I have to go buy another HF 4 ton floor jack. Hey, as long as he is the one doing it. Me, I will still use the lift. LOL

Locally on FBM I've seen used 3ton jacks for $25 up to $150, so I did make a score. My sister and BIL are both very inactive so the jack has not seen action in years.
