looks good, and great price. What are you going to do? leave it like it is or refinish it?
There seems to be a bit of rust on it. It's missing two screws on the door hinge. I'm missing a little drawer for it, the key, and I think two drawer clips. I would like to restore it. I have already taken it apart except for the handles, I have washed the main box, going to start on the drawers tomorrow. I'll try a light grind on the rust areas, hopefully the rust isn't too deep. I would like to refinish it and make it look like new again.

Have the same one, rugged little box. I posted pics in the vintage tool box thread a few months ago.

Looks good. I wonder if you could find the missing drawer on ebay. It doesn't look to be in too bad of shape, i'd love to see a restore thread.

That is a nice size. I've been keeping my eyes out for something like that for my trailer to mount on the wall. I will give you the "YOU ****" since no one else did. Nice find.

You can use the top as an ashtray holder.;)

That's a really cool little box. Congrats and "You ****!"

Swap the top drawer down to the missing one, then you can put taller stuff in the top until you happen upon a replacement.

Well one drawer seems to be the worst out of the bunch. I did a little cleaning and lots of buffing. That handle sure came out nice. :)

Last pics for the night. The first drawer is almost done prep. And all the handles have been washed. I'll be taking a pick to detail them. Here are the pics. Now to have dinner.:bounce:

I've been thinkin about this. I don't really need it. I'll give you posts on the current status of it. I'm thinking I'll post for trade. I'm not a scalper, I don't believe in robbing people. I got it for free. I'm enjoying the work I'm doing to it. It will not be perfect for a restoration. I've never painted before so expect something rough. Lol. However there is something I am looking for and it would be for a equal trade plus postage.
