SCORE!!! Griot's-Lista Cabinets

So today I am sitting at my local cigar shop shooting the bull with my buddies about our summer projects fixing our garages and landscaping and a miracle happens. Last month I was able to get three Lista cabinets dirt cheap from the local Griot's Garage Sale. I told the warehouse manager then whenever he had any scratch and dent cabinets give me a call. Normally Lista cabinets or any other brand in that range would be well out of my price range. Then what happens out of the blue ... he calls with FIVE more cabinets!!! So needless to say I bought them all! Unfortunately I don't have the room for them and will be passing most of them on to my friends. I just want to say again as in the few post here I have had I LOVE GRIOT'S!

ps. No I dont want to sell at a profit, if I have any left over and you want to drive here and have few with me and a nice cigar..... lets talk.

Plainfield Indiana, However I think they are all going to be used between me and my friends. If not I will let you guys know. I still havent picked them up due to the rain and my buddy getting called into work today so no trailer and pallet jack They still have a couple unshakealbe work benches with 72in tops if anyone is interested.

My buddy is taking all the cabinets and it sounds like Bever911 wants the extra bench. I PM'd a couple people about the cabinets and benches. They still have a bench or two if anyone is interested. I dont know if they are available only for local pick up or shipped.

The bench is still available for local pick up if anyone wants it. I may have the optional two drawer undercabinet for it too. I need to pick it up first and see if I can use it. If I cant it will go with the bench.

Does Griot's have a "scratch and dent" outlet at Plainfield that customers are welcome to go to..or is this just a friend that is taking care of you?

My Cabinets

For a size reference the blue case on the left of the bottom shelf is a 1 3/4 Bosch Rotary Hammer that weighs about 30lbs. The thin black case in the center is a 12volt Dewalt Hammer Drill.

Needless to say.. now that this is done

I finally get to spend time fixing up the garage and getting all the mess organized. Hopefully with the addition of two more cabinets all clutter will be abolished FOREVER!!!!

Hey, what's your burger flipper doing in your cabinet?

Thats a very large SDS-Max scraper. This winter we are pulling up our tile and putting down slate. It will make the job much easier. Or it doubles as Tim Allens burger flipper. I stuck it in there because it doesnt fit in the Rotary Hammers case, and I didnt want it banging around since the edge is somewhat sharpened.

I am located in Seymour, just about 40 minutes South...

Do they have a showroom with some scratch and dent stuff available all the time, or only on occasion. I am wanting to take a trip up just to look around. Is it generally only cabinets, or other stuff as well? Got my eye on a king creeper

They dont have a "showroom" They clear out all the scratch and dent once a year. They stock basically everything there except very large stuff ie cabinets shelves.. etc. If there is a particular item your interested in you can go to the office and they will it out of the warehouse and let you see it. Usually when I have done this they just take you back to the warehouse.

Bhays, yes you can walk in and buy about 90% of th stuff in the catalog. The local number is 317-839-2135 if you want to call ahead to make sure they have it.

Red Car Garage. I really like the drawer things. The two grey ones are about ten years old. I use them for all kinds of misc. stuff. The nice thing abou them is if I am working on say 12volt wiring I can simply grab that drawer or two and take it to the project.
