Heavily rusted T15 torx fine thread machine screw in a rusted housing.
Hoped for the best, expected the worst. Went with the top contender I had, RBRT.
Won the battle. Honestly wasn't expecting it. Call me a believer.

I have some similar bits with Craftsman V-Series, but I recently lost that clip that had the hex and Torx in it. So, Mac guy it is, I guess.

Honestly, that was the best $30 I spent on a screwdriver....

That's one that is pretty impressive. I've seen other guys use them but never bought any because of price.

The RBRT Torx are miracle workers. The profile barely looks different from the regular Torx but whatever their secret sauce is - it works. I’m still undecided about the hex bits but the Torx bits are a game changer

I’ve posted about it before but this socket head torx screw rounded out instantly with a regular torx.

Used the RBRT and it came out with zero hesitation. I’m not even sure what it was grabbing, the screw was so rounded out

Damn, I had a hard time believing that used to be a Torx screw head. Without scale, could have passed for a rusted tin can crushed down a bit

I really didn't want to break this screw off but it was crumbling to the point of no return with my Wera bit so I stopped and got the Mac bit. The round head was also recessed so screw extracting pliers were not an option, plus it too was heavily damaged.
It was pretty impressive guys.

That is the set I used, but I got it for a crazy deal.
If you have access to a MAC dealer they can get individual bits out of that set as they sell them open stock. They are $6.50ea.
