Hahaha Thanks!

Long story short, someone I know just bought a warehouse which used to be a scooter shop. The previous owners left some goodies behind, and believe it or not, this stuff was going in the trash. Luckily, I got a phone call to come check out the situation before they junked everything. It's kind of funny, he just wanted to junk everything to get rid of it as fast as possible, and I was like a kid in a candy store. It was a little embarrassing asking him if certain items were going in the trash and if I could take them instead...

Really goes to show how "one man's trash is another man's treasure"

Well, to be honest, the quality of the parts washer is pretty cheap. It's a "made in China" no name and I probably would never pay for one. But hey, it's FRREEEEE...

Those neon lights look suspiciously like fluorescents to me. ;) Great score, though - that bike lift was a real find.

Dude, that's an awesome score! I wish I could score a free lift...

On the boxes, can you tell us about the feet you replaced the wheels with? Where did you get them?

Thanks...

I made them myself. I cut a piece of 1/4" steel the same size as the mounting plate on the casters, drilled a hole in each corner to bolt it to the box using the original bolts. I then drilled a hole in the middle of the plate and welded a nut in over it. Finally, I welded a large washer over the head of a bolt and just screwed it into the plate. Voila, heavy duty, adjustable feet. I'll try to snap a pic tonight. I know I would wanna see a photo....

That's pretty cool!! I might have to steel that idea...
