On mine I generally try to get the dried grease out via preferred cleaner then will lube with a couple drops of a medium or heavy weight oil. Clean the metal surface where the bearings run to remove any debris which often takes some scraping as the bearings flatten it out with each drawer cycle and should operate smooth as silk.

P.S.....You **** ;). Great buy!

Nice buy!

I clean out the dried grease/crud with WD40 and/or silicone spray and then lube with oil. Clean the rails and spray with silicone to reduce rubbing.

If you want something between oils and #2 grease you can try agricultural cornhead grease. It is rated at #0 and is sold in John Deere dealerships. I used it in my Rockwell Delta bandsaw gearbox.

On all of mine I flush them out with brake cleaner then regrease with Super Lube.
Super Lube has several oil and grease products that might be applicable. Is there one in particular that you recommend? Or is "Super Lube" a GJ code phrase for one particular product?

Edit -- This one? https://www.amazon.com/Super-Lube-41160-Synthetic-Translucent/dp/B0083R1FME/?tag=atomicindus08-20

That’s it. It’s a very good and versatile grease.
