Scored a Beverly B2!

I have wanted a Beverly shear for a long time and finally scored a B2 at a local liquidation auction. It's been used just enough for someone to screw up the blades, which I sent off to Mittler Bros. I will blast and paint it and it will be like new. Glad to finally have this great tool in my arsenal.

Congrats on the new tool...!!! I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.
It typically takes a very long time to hunt down a Beverly Shear for a reasonable price. I finally found a B-3 last year. I was thrilled to find it here in Wisconsin for only $325. Note: In the pic below, the shear was covered in dust. I just wiped it off a bit with my glove to see what color it was....
Please, send more pictures as your restoration proceeds, especially your assessment of the blade sharpening.

Mittler Bros. did a great job on the blades. After setting them up at .012 clearance, they cut 16 Ga. like better. Made the tripod stand out of stuff I had on hand.
