more "trash" from work. finally picked up what i wanted for the outside table fan so its more bearable to hang out outside in the summertime.

it was in poor condition sitting at work. another shift tried to repair it and couldn't get it so they were told to toss it and they'll just buy a new one. i was able to get it out the door for 5 and tax (would have been just scrap weight only but its 5 minimum and i had nothing else i wanted to take out with it, 5 is barely anything for a good fan that can be repaired).
unfortunately i'm absolutely terrible about before and after type of pics, i know people like to see the drastic difference made, but lets just say the red blade was not red when i got it, it was brown/black
overall a good buy i'd say, in the process of doing a half refurbish on it now. i may want to straighten it out and paint it up and make it look perfect again. but i'm ok with the slightly used look for now as long as it's not dripping with dirt and crud (i don't want that flying around the garage getting on my cars and such). also need to source a new switch for it, the on/off switch was torn apart, was in good working order but the guy who got to it before me just started tearing things apart not knowing what to look for. good and bad i guess since they tossed it, but it was in pieces and more broken than when it started.
this is the first drum fan i was able to pick up, i already have a few 22,24 and 28 inch fans dayton, tpi, patton, etc. i like to be able to clean them up, repair them, oil them up and get them running again. they make good garage and porch fans for family and friends. especially at the price of 10 cents a pound usually (2.70 per fan mostly.)
