I've been wanting some pass-thru sockets for a while, and wanted USA made ones. I found a ratchet at the flea market a while back I later found out was the special forces ratchet...so the hunt began. I bid on a set of the Special Forces metric sockets on ebay last week that sold for $55, and saw the standard set brought about $45...so the search continued. Googling the part number pulled up a craigslist ad from across the country...the whole set for $40. Not too bad :)

My $40 set...

And the (longer) ratchet I found at the flea market a few months ago..

So ive been periodically searching ebay for these, first saw them from a guy at work.

Can you give me the part numbers you know and what set they are? So far I have just been searching Matco Special Forces.

Nice score, I picked this set up a couple years ago.

The biggest advantage of these to me are not the pass through feature but how low profile they are.
