You need to take the high road and stay calm, first and foremost.
If you flip out, you will look like the unstable jerk, and they'll just say "I told ya so!!"

Let your good work speak for itself, but if someone is sabotaging your work, I am not sure how to handle that. Should that just be quietly dismissed? Will it continue on? At some point, it may jeopardize your job. Or do you accuse people with no proof? I would have 100% proof before I accused anyone, while being the new guy. Once you cross that line, they now have a real reason to hate you.

Very tough decision. You can handle slagging, b/c you're not at work to make friends, you're there to help the owner make money. Maybe I'd have a talk privately with the boss regarding the sabotaging.

When people have been hiding your parts, how did you eventually recover them? Were they just put in a different place in your workspace? Or where they moved elsewhere?

Wow that's awesome!

Wish I could find a decent job!

And by the way, Merbie is my wife's car's name. He's a 2013 VW Beetle, made in Mexico. So he's a Mexican Herbie = Merbie.

Congrats man, you've worked for some real high end stuff over there. What is your educational background out of curiosity? Do you have an engineering degree of some sort?

First Of All congrats on your new job.. Second tell your tool dealers you are moving and make arrangements.. Third don't go out on spending spree just because you got a full time better job.. Save for a little while and see how your new job goes then buy some tools.. Snap On toolbox is probably the third largest investment one probably makes in his life behind house and car... Jus my opinion and good luck

No need to buy tools anymore Bentley provides anything I'll be using, but I'll mostly be banging out cad programmes, my background just started with me working at a jaguar garage then I moved into working with aeroplanes most notably spitfires, then I work at the Bugatti place and I also have a diploma in engineering, this led me to applying to Bentley, I had been on holiday for two weeks then had one day to come back, prepare a presentation then shoot down to Crewe for the interview on two hours sleep massively jet lagged! All the other lads who were applying for the job had great grades but not much practical knowledge, it's pretty much my practical experience that got me the job. I made the argument that a graduate doesn't know how things 'fit' together when it come to designing. So don't be disheartened when applying for positions thinking you need better grades experience pays! And for you vise lovers here how far we are with our replica Bugatti vises

I like it...

What's the price going to be of the "New" Bugatti vice???...

You're right about engineers...I told an Electronics Engineer that "Every time this diode blows, the furnace burns up..."...He told me, "Horses@#t, that can't happen..."

Two weeks later a Service Data Bulletin came out...Told us Field Engineers to change the type of diode...changing it prevented overdriving the heating elements, which would burn up the furnace...
