Scored a Wilton Shop King 3 1/2"

Hi All,

First post here, here have lurked a long time, and have learned much from others in various subjects.

Found an old Wilton vise last week, a Chicago 14, fully functional and so far as I can tell missing just one of the pipe inserts. Understood parts for these are far and few between, so this being my first vintage vise, I'll live with and perhaps even get around to restoring this thing. Meantime, I am putting it to use

There are a lot of threads on vices that you'd probably get some good information from. If you try the search feature, use Vise and limit it to titles only you'll see them. Here are a few that I found helpful when I got my Wiltons.

Very nice! Not sure what color mine will eventually claim...regardless its usual red, but considering green for me

That's funny....Now looking for a larger vise....even though this one has already earned its keep. Just received pipe jaws/clamps from another member on this forum and my "new" to me old vise is now whole....just needs some TLC and use.
