Scored some signage today

Went and painted posts at the ATV club today, and when done I asked the guy responsible for signs if he had anything "unusable" that could work as garage art.

He pointed to a pile and told me to help myself. Walked away with these (I was not so greedy that I took the whole pile). They are minister of transport approved, all scaled down for the ATV trails.

More pics to follow when they adorn the walls of the Can-Am Garage!

Nice! Many years ago, a friend who was a school police officer gave me a bunch of scaled down traffic signs, much like yours. They were used in a High School drivers education class.

I would love that atv/car combo sign.. Wanna sell it? Lol. Great grabs bro!

When I saw the pile I thought "I could sell those on Garage Journal" for more than we get for scrap! I might have found a small fund raising idea for the club.

Sadly, mine is not for sale (hmm...unless you want it really badly, and are really rich, and are offering an obscene 4 digit number) :lol_hitti:evil:

It is cool though, isn't it.

I buy aluminum road signs from the scrap yard at whatever the going aluminum price/lb is at the time. County recycles all the old signs. Easy pickin's if they have a bunch and the material is great for projects.
