The 12 foot walls in my garage look pretty empty, so I've been on a weeks long fruitless search for old signs. This weekend, my search finally paid off. As I was heading out to the Flea Market, I happened to notice a 37 Ford truck on the side of the road set up with some antique stuff. I was so busy looking at the truck, I almost missed the Sinclair sign. I flipped a quick u turn, made a great deal and headed off to the Flea Market and antique shops. At a broken down place filled with junk, I scored the Quaker State Sign and the Red Ball Globe.
Lesson learned: A Heavily tattoed man makes little old ladies in Antique Stores very nervous.
26"W X 29" tall two sided Quaker State sign
26" Red Ball Globe, I think it used to be on a sign post with a light in it or something. One side is kind of busted up, but the other side displays nicely.
60'W X 44"tall two sided Sinclair gas sign still in the cast iron frame with hanging chain, this mutha is heavy...
