Got a call from a buddy that an older Gentleman, "Ronny" had some oil "stuff" to get rid of. So after getting the address, I pulled up to this old rundown dry wood-sided house with an even older looking dried up wood-sided garage.

It felt like being on "Pickers' or something...

After visiting with the guy for a while, he asked me to go in with him and take a look to see what I might be interested in.

Here's what was picked up. :D

Before and after cleaning pics.

Definetely a cool score! What is in the clear jar?

It has a small label which states :

Raw Linseed Oil
Northern end Official Entrance
Yellowstone Park
Gardiner, Mont.
postmaster...This parcel may
be opened for postal inspection
if necessary.

Wild, Right???
I think that is an old label for mailing.

What did you pay for all of that stuff?

Edit - Good chance some of that stuff is older than many of our members...

Funny how all us guys would be all googley-eyed and our wives would be " what is all this junk, I think we need to make a Goodwill run". Nice score, cleaned up well.

Still waiting to hear what the price was....???????

Sorry I was in the shop working on my sign support...
Ronny told me "Just take that **** it's not worth anything to me !" ...

But I gave him $60 anyway and he told me "Come back next week, I'll look around some more in his basement "...

This stuff was his Dad's and Ronny is 73 yrs. young...

Going back on Friday!
