Scott Atwater Floor Jack

I picked up this floor jack last weekend for $10. The jack clearly was left outside for many years. The front wheel studs are pitted and the rear caster is half rotted away. The jack is seized up, and water was in the reservoir. I gonna have at it.

I can’t find much about this brand or model,

I dumped the water from the resevoir and cleaned it as best as I could . The access panel is small. Next I loosed the side plated, remove pins/linkage in order to remove the jack handle. After that I pounded on the jack plate to free the pivot point up. It took a while but I was able to free the jack up

I've never heard of Scott Atwater floor jack. Great find

Nice save! That's going to make a great piece to have. Never realized Scott-Atwater made this stuff too. I had one of their outboards long ago.

Yeah, that is a cool looking jack. Good luck with the rebuild. I don't know why, but I'm picturing it painted a dark navy blue. That would give it that classy, understated look. Much better than clown colors that some like to use.
