Now that's what I need for a company car........ A van.

We also have a wood burning open fireplace in the lounge, so I always pick up wood, pallets etc. my local shed factory about 6 miles from here, sells massive plastic bags of pine and some oak, off cuts for £4.00 per bag, the bag takes about 2.5 of thise galvanised incinerator type bins worth of wood. It makes for a difficult one man carry, to give you an idea, so these days my kindling is pretty much easier to buy than scavenge, but logs I always pick up, and also buy 2x ton builders bags of copped/split Oak/silver Birch for £80.00 delivered and packed in my wood store.

The guys in The States don't realise how much we have to pay for Snap On stuff here in the UK. Go on, make their eyes water and tell how much you had to pay for those… and not the price you tell the missus!
Garage is looking a treat. How's the motor coming on?

Sorry to jump back a few pages... But you should see what quality tools like that currently cost in my side of the hemispheres.

Awesome thread... Such a great workshop and a super legit car to boot. I was in the Uk many years back and was near Aberdeen in winter... holy **** its cold up there... Im sure that stove takes the nip out.

Keen to see how your addiction turns out with tools... its one junkie habit that's always fun to watch develop.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the old 7s had much help to offer in a rollover. Are those "wings" in the back fender mounts and collision protection? Looks like a car will have an aggressive look to it. Who provided the kit and what power plant will you be using?

I have always like the Lotus 7 style cars, and with that skyline engine in there it should be an absolute blast to drive! Your cabinets have turned out great, I'd personally stain them, but the paint you have photoshoped looks pretty nice as well. I'll tag along for future updates on the car.
