I’ve had this vise for a while and it has been extremely useful and handy.

I had to use it in a bind to disassemble a piston/connecting rod assembly. Afterwards, it was hard to open/close.

Pulled it apart, and it is cracked.

I’m hoping there is a vise “junkyard” out there somewhere.

Thanks in advance for any and all leads!

I have that same vise. It's a keeper.

I know, that’s why I’m bummed I broke it :(

But it has served me well over the years

Funny, I was looking at harbor freight vises today when I went and got my press.

I just don’t know if for less than $100 I can trust the harbor freight vises.

I have $25 coming to me tomorrow from sears. Maybe I’ll put it towards a vise.... Craigslist around me doesn’t have anything that’s “just right” for me (price wise haha).

That's a Wilton Scout; it's not really suitable for anything more than light hobby work. There is a vise parts thread here on GJ. I'll see if I can locate the link.
