So, I have been needing to build another welding cart, mainly so I would have room for my mig and tig. I started with just leftover metal. The main bottom piece is from a hot rod frame I cut the front off of so I could put a 'z' in it and narrow it. The vertical pieces is a piece of 1x1 I got from the metal bin at the dump for free. And the top is a piece of 16ga mild steel (36x36) that I put lip on all the way around. The final two pieces are the 3/8 square rod for a handle and the small piece of aluminum I used the brake to make it into a tray for my consumables. It's small, but it holds all my mig parts. I didn't take any pics of itas I was putting it together b/c my camera battery was dead. I did add a coat of flat rattle can black to it before I put my welders on it. The gas bottle's sit on a piece of 2x4 and are chained to the top. This was all put together in about 3 hours. Here are some pics.

I forgot to mention that this cart is wide enough for my Miller mig and my Miller Tig too. I just havn't got it set up on there yet. I do plan on adding a few tubes to hold my tig rod.

Sweet setup.I like the idea of making it big enough to have some room left to lay things on it.Nothing worse than dragging out the mig for a job and having tools scattered on the floor.Are you planning on something to keep the bottom of the cyl from moving while you roll it around the shop?Looks kind of precarious there now but a small ring of flatbar would keep that cyl in place.

There's a piece of 1x1 on the backside of the cylinder to keep it from falling off, and on the inside there's nothing on there, but between both tanks and both welders, I don't think there's any way for me to move it fast enough to get it to fall off.

It started it's life as a bent up POS from a HF salvage sale. I paid $15 bucks for it. I brought it home and cut out what needed replacing, fixed the main problem these e-wheels have(upper and lower wheels not in alignment), and tig'd it all back together. It actually works better than the Metal Ace e-wheel I have. I also turned all of the wheels on the lathe myself. Why I made so many, I don't know, as I mostly use the flat and 2 degree ones anyway.

I forgot to add, I sprayed it with a bedliner goo with a flatening agent in it. Can't nick it at all.
