Need help, do all screw bits have the size on them? I was trying to fins a #8 bit today and had no luck, everything I found had a 2 on it, so either I have a **** load of #2 bits or they are not stamped on them. If they aren't stamped how do I tell the difference? Thanks

The screw bits will be labeled on the new box what they fit and will be stamped for size most of the time. When a person buys the "bin sale" packages of screw bits, then they are not always stamped for size. If you are using a #8 gauge screw then most likely you will need a #3 driver phillips bit. jmo

For most Phillips screwdrivers, the # 1 will do the #4 screws, the #2 will handle the 6,8, and 10 size screws. #3 might do the larger 1/4", and #4 will do the 5/16" type fasteners.
